Настройка Samsung 753DF

Не получается толково настроить монитор (см. тему). Цель: установить режим не ниже 1024x768 85Hz

Делалось следующее:

- мой лучший результат редакции XF86Config-4
Сделано на базе вывода ./XFreeConfig

Напугала всех? :)

В принципе этот конфиг меня почти устраивает. Объясняю: изначально KDE стартует с монитором в режиме, где картинка немного меньше, чем рабочая область (остаются чёрные полосы внизу и справа). Жму <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<+> и попадаю точно в нужный мне режим, монитор показывает "68.6k/ 85 1024x768", картинка точно по экрану.

Так вот вопрос собственно в том, что изменить в настройках, чтобы не переключаться вручную.

Собственно ключ в разгадке где-то тут. Есть мнение что твой modeline который "1024x768/85Hz" система отображает именно таким образом как ты видишь, а при переключении режима переходит на следующий - которым является дефолтный "1024x768" и который нормальлно отображается.
PS: посмотри в дистрибутиве - обысно бывает 1-2 пакетика которые умеют считать modeline - как минмум videogen практически везде есть.
